Dear Parents / Carers,
It is unusual to be writing a letter to you on the last day of the year, however 2020 has
been a very unusual year!
As you will be aware there has been much media attention given to education and how
schools will return in January. To ensure that we have a shared understanding of how
The Harbour School will return and how we will keep children and each other safe, I have
outlined some key points below.
We know that the return to school is likely to be challenging forall involved and that many of you will need support andguidance. We understand that during the lockdown period, children and their families may have had to deal with illness, bereavement, changes in employment, financial difficulties andhousing issues.
This briefing sheet has been put together to give schools information about free and paid summer holiday provision, so that this can be sign-posted to parents seeking childcare or enrichment activities over the summer holidays.
This is the welcome booklet for parents and guardians of prospective Harbour School pupils. It is a friendly guide to show you the places around the school, as well introduce you to some of our key staff members.
